Cecil Randall Parker

Cecil Randall Parker, 65, of Chester, South Carolina, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. A private service will be held in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina.

Born in Kingstree, South Carolina, Randall was the son of Cecil Mouzon Parker and Marginelle Cantey Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne Parker.

Randall attended the University of South Carolina, where he majored in History. Following his studies, he taught briefly at Dutch Fork High School in Columbia. He later worked as a civilian cook at a U.S. Army post in Columbia.

Randall enjoyed attending Faith and Love Christian Center, where he admired the pastor and valued the friendships he formed there. He was especially grateful to members of the congregation who kindly provided transportation so he could attend services regularly.

He also developed close friendships with his neighbors at Catawba Place, sharing meals, television programs, and companionship. His beloved dog, Lucy, brought him much joy and was often part of those gatherings.

Randall will be remembered for his appreciation of friendship, community, and simple pleasures.
