Chester Catherine Rosewood, 63, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Chester Regional Medical Center.A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Dan Sullivan.The family will receive friends Monday, July 21, 2014 from 3:30 PM – 4:00 P.M. in the sanctuary.The interment will be private. Ms. Rosewood was born November 21, 1950 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late E.E. Leaseburge and Marianna Burgess Dawson.She was a graduate of Mannington High School in Mannington, WV and attended Franconia College in Franconia, NH, Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV and York Technical College.She was employed at the Chester County Detention Center as a dietary supervisor and was previously employed at Catawba Mental Health.She was a talented artist, a wonderful cook, and a beloved sister, aunt, and friend.Ms. Rosewood was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by one sister, Sarah Lee and husband Brent of Richburg; two nephews, Jacob Lee and Corey Lee both of Chester; one uncle, Howard Burgess of Canton, Ohio; cousins, Bob and Waneta Ferrell of Ovieda, Florida;and other relatives.
