Catherine Hill Johnson

Chester, SC:Catherine Hill Johnson, 67, died Friday June 9, 2017 at her residence.The family will receive friends anytime Saturday June 10, 2017 or Sunday June 11, 2017 at the home of Dean “Wormy” and Stephanie Johnson.Memorial Service will be private. Mrs. Johnson was born in Columbia, SC on January 20, 1950 and was a daughter of the late Leroy, Sr. and Beatrice (Medlin) Hill and the widow of James Herbert Johnson. She attendedOlympia and Lower Richland High Schools in Columbia, SC and was retired from Chester County Hospital. Mrs. Johnson attended Parkway Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Dean “Wormy” Johnson (Stephanie) of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Cody Johnson of Blackstock, SC, Clay Johnson,Savannah Jacobs and Tarra Scott all of Chester, SC; a great grandchild Alley Wallace of Chester, SC; five brothers, Doug Hill(Carol) of Lugoff, SC, Leroy Hill,Jr.(Sandra) of Prosperity, SC, Ronnie Hill (Sylvia) and Richard Hill (Reba) all of Lexington, SC and Charlie Hill (Vera) of Columbia, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.
