Laurens Miss. Carrie Jo McWaters, 29, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 21, at her home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Union ARP Church Cemetery with Dr. Neely Gaston officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the home of James and Margaret McWaters in Richburg, SC. Miss. McWaters was born April 28, 1991 in Chester, SC.She was a graduate of Lewisville High School where she was in the marching band and played the flute. Carrie worked as a cook in various restaurants and was a member of Union ARP church in Richburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her mother Veronica Crump and her aunt Louise Lathrop. In addition to her parents Billy and Nikki McWaters of Richburg she is survived by her grandparents, James and Margaret McWaters of Richburg; siblings, Gary, Thomasina, Ryan, Ritchie, and Frank; her aunts, Diane, Darlene and Brenda and her uncle Junior; Carrie Jo’s girlfriend Kelley Simmons and Kelly’s children, Donovan, Kyrstin, and Dusty; and her furry friend “Shelby” .
