Chester Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Adams Davis, 74, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at her home.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Runion officiating.Interment is private.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 26, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Davis was born July 22, 1943 in Greenwood, SC and was the daughter of the late William Adams and Kathleen King Adams Enlow.She was a graduate of Chester High School and Merle Norman Beauty School.Mrs. Davis was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Orrs Baptist Church.She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and tending her flower beds. She is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Charles Adam Davis; one son, Charles Kenneth Davis (Tammy Fenton) of Fort Mill; two grandchildren, Megan Davis of Raleigh, NC and Kyla Davis of Charleston; and an aunt whom she loved as a sister, Ruth Staley (John) of Easley, SC.Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her brother, Maxie “Buddy” Adams.
