Chester Mrs. Carole Jane Cantrell Tindall, 84, died Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Westminster in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Laura and Dale Hinson. Mrs. Tindall was born January 29, 1934 in Fort Mill, SC and was a daughter of the late Edgar Lewis Cantrell and Pauline Hamrick Cantrell.She was a graduate of Inman High School, Inman, SC and was retired from First Baptist Church School in Charleston, SC as a teacher’s assistant.Mrs. Tindall was a member of First Baptist Church in Chester.She enjoyed being the church pianist while at Edisto Beach, SC and also at Enoree Baptist Church, Enoree, SC.Mrs. Tindall enjoyed cooking and was a talented seamstress and was willing to share her talents with others. She is survived by three children, Fred L. “Skip” Tindall (Tink) of Chester, Laura Tindall Hinson (Dale) of Chester and Edgar L. “Ed” Tindall (Denise) of Haughton, LA; six grandchildren, Sonny Tindall of Destin, FL, Jennifer Davis (Matthew) of Easley, SC, Candice Murphy Gilliland of Rock Hill, SC, Rhonda Murphy Kelsey (Everett) of Chester, SC, Asa Tindall of Lake Charles, LA and Jake Tindall of Haughton, LA; and three great grandchildren, Fred Gilliland, Edy Pat Kelsey and Wilkes Tindall Kelsey.She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Fred L.
