Carl Thomas Mobley

Mr. Carl Thomas Mobley, 90, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Chester Regional Medical Center. In lieu of a memorial service the family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 7:30 PM Friday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street. Born July 30, 1919 in Blackstock, SC, Mr. Mobley was a son of the late Floyd Boyd Mobley and Annie McKeown Mobley.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired after forty-seven years of service from Springs Industries as a card grinder.He also worked as laundromat attendant at Saluda Commons in Chester.He was a US Air Force veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife Lorine Welchel Mobley; two sons, Thomas Mobley and his wife Lynn of Chester and Keith Mobley and his wife Shirley of Blackstock; ons step-son, Eugene Edwards and his wife Nancy of Marana, AZ; five grandchildren, Sean Edwards of Marana, AZ, Brian Mobley of Chester, Blake Mobley of Rock Hill, Clay Mobley of Fort Bragg, NC and Brooke Mobley Buck of Arlington, VA; one brother, Ernest Mobley of Chester; one sister, Geneva King of Clinton, SC and nine great grandchildren.
