Carl Gregory Loving

Blackstock Mr. Carl Gregory Loving, 57, died Wednesday, March 8, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 12, 2023 at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Don Etters officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church. Mr. Loving was born January 23, 1966 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Carl Loving and Sara Burrell. He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended York Tech. He was retired from Chester Sewer District as superintendent of maintenance. Greg was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding his Harley motorcycle. Mr. Loving was a member of New Life Baptist Church where he taught Men’s Sunday School class and was the church treasurer. He is survived by his wife Billie Shirl Rucker Loving; one son Hamp Loving of Blackstock, SC; one granddaughter, Chalalee Loving of Blackstock, SC; one sister, Kim Weaver (Kenny) of Whitmire, SC; two nieces, two nephews and several great nieces, nephews and cousins and his partner of two years, Angela Pajon of Chester, SC.
