CHESTER Mr. Carl Dennis Farmer, 46, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at his residence.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Together As One with Rev. Ronnie Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 ?7:00 p.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home. Born September 23, 1964 in Chester, Carl was the son of William N. ?Bill? Farmer and Nancy Kilpatrick Farmer Penland.He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended Gardner-Webb University.He formerly worked with Springs Industries and Rent Way.He was a member of Together As One. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Kilpatrick Penland of Chester; father and step-mother, William N. ?Bill? Farmer and Linda of Chester; one sister, Karen Farmer of Chester; two brothers, Keith Farmer and his wife Samantha of Chester and Freddy Penland, Jr of Chester; step-brother, David Stepp of Chester; two nieces; two nephews and one great niece.He was preceded in death by his step-father Freddy Penland, Sr and a niece Tabitha Farmer Koon.
