Lancaster Mr. Calvin Eugene “Gene” Reynolds, 85, went into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, April 12, 2015, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Alpha Life Church of God of Prophecy, 1677 Alpha Road, Lancaster, SC 29720, with Pastor Marie Proctor officiating.Interment will be private.You are invited to remain after the service to visit and reminisce with family and friends. Mr. Reynolds was born March 18, 1930 in Winnsboro, SC and was the son of the late Herman Reynolds and Alma Watts Reynolds.He attended the schools of Lancaster County, retired from Springs Industries and was the owner and operator of Genes Appliance.Mr. Reynolds was a member of Alpha Life Church of God of Prophecy in Lancaster, SC. He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Linda Brewer Reynolds; three children, Michael Reynolds (Bernice) of Catawba, SC, Cynthia Taylor (Paul) of Spartanburg, SC, Calvin E. Reynolds, II of Charleston, SC; one step daughter, Gina Reynolds of Lancaster, SC; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Reynolds and Eddie Reynolds both of Lancaster, SC and four sisters, Azalee Jordan, Delores Altman, Caroline Elliott, Wylene Allen all of Lancaster, SC.Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Reynolds: two brothers, Julius Reynolds and Don Reynolds and a sister Lila Linder.
