Chester Mr. Bruce Calvin Toney Sr., 67, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Della Hunsucker and Rev. Mike Conn officiating.Interment will following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church , 3087 Fishing Creek Church Road , Chester SC 29706. Mr. Toney was born June 23, 1951 in Lockhart, SC and was a son of the late William J.C. Toney and Marjorie Ramsey Toney Gibson.He was a graduate of the schools of Chester County and retired from Sunway Charter/Trolley as a driver. Mr. Toney was amember of Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church where he loved to sing in the choir and minister to others.Bruce also enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years; Ellen Armstrong Toney; his children; Melody Sanders (Brent) of Grover, NC, Candy Collins (Tommy), Bruce Toney, Jr. (Sonya) andShane Toney allof Granite Falls, NC, Lee Toney (Lorie Ann) of Eagleville, TN, Steven Hass of North Carolina, KennethPettit, Sr. (Becky)of Fort Lawn, SC, Crystal Pettit ( Wesley McInvaille) of Rock Hill, SC; two sisters Betty Black of Kings Mountain, NC and Barbara Hall of Mt.
