Mr. Brian Paul Lewis, Sr., 47, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April14, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Greene officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of his sister Tammy Lewis, 136 Saluda Street, Chester, SC. Born April 5, 1966 in Chester, SC, Mr. Lewis was a son of Mima Lee Johnson Crocker of Chester and the late Luther Franklin Lewis.He attended the schools of Bridgeton, NJ and formerly worked in construction as a sheetrock installer.Brian was known for his ability to write beautiful poetry and to make you laugh.He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Brian P. Lewis, Jr. of Franklinville, NJ; two daughters, Ashley M. Lewis of Williamstown, NJ and Melissa Jagger of Franklinville, NJ; five brothers, R.J. Lewis of Rock Hill, SC, Dwayne Lewis of IN, Andy Lewis of Rankin, TN, Luther Lewis of Savannah, GA and Gene Lewis of Chester; two sisters, Shirley L. Wineberg of York, SC and Tammy Lewis, his caregiver of Chester; two grandchildren, Faith Ann Lewis and Landon Lewis both of Franklinville, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews; two step-brothers, David Paul Norton and Billy John Norton of Vineland, NJ; and one step-sister, Peggy Ann Norton of Chester.
