Brian Scott Blanks

Edgemoor: Brian Scott Blanks, 36, died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Edgemoor Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with Reverend Allen Derrick and Reverend Linda Jenkins officiating. Interment wil be private. Born in Charlotte, NC January 13, 1974,Mr. Blanks was a son of James A. and Barbara Mabry Blanks. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and York Techincal College. He was employed with Verizon Wireless as a Project Manager, a volunteer fireman with Lando Fire Department for over fourteen years and a member of Edgemoor ARP Church. Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Sarah Nealy Blanks, two sons, Austin and Logan Blanks both of Edgemoor, SC, one brother, Jamie Blanks and his wife Ashley of Edgemoor, SC, maternal grandmother, Viola Wade of Chester, SC and two nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday immediately following the service at the church.
