Chester: Bret Nelson Eagle 32, of 712 Linden Drive, died October 2, 2009, at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday October 4, 2009, at the First Church of the Nazarene of Chester with Rev. John Porter officiating. Interment will be private. Born in York, SC, November 23, 1976, he was the son of Kay Sinclair Eagle and the late Rickie L. Eagle. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School and the Citadel, class of 2000. Major Eagle was a former Army Commander at Fort Jackson and former Platoon Leader at Fort Bliss, Texas. While serving in the military he received the Army Achievement Award, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. Surviving is his mother Kay Sinclair Eagle. He was preceded in death by his Paternal grand parents Dave H. Eagle and Daphne P. Eagle and hisMaternal grand parentsJames Dean Sinclair and Mary S.Sinclair. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00PM at the First Church of the Nazarene.
