York Mrs. Brenda Dianne “Ann” Watts Sweatt, 75, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at White Oak Manor York, SC. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC 29706. She was born August 29, 1944 in Union, SC and was a daughter of the late George Franklin Watts and Katherine Virginia West Watts. She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries as a weaver. Ann’s great talent and God given gift was serving as a caretaker to others. Mrs. Sweatt was a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one son Floyd A. Sweatt, Jr. (Tina) of McConnell’s, SC; one sister, Jenny Childers of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Kyle A. Sweatt of Seneca, SC and Zack A. Sweatt of McConnell’s, SC; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sweatt was preceded in death by her husband Floyd A. Sweatt, Sr.; one daughter, Kathy Mae Sweatt; one brother, Ray Watts. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
