Chester Mrs. Brenda Sigmon Queen, 78, died Sunday December 27, 2020, at her home.A memorial service will be heldat 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Fountain of Life Church of God with Pastor Walter Mitchum and Rev. Ken Compton officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the committal.At the request of the family, please wear a mask or other face covering and practice social distancing. Mrs. Queen was born July 7, 1942 in Lockhart, SC and was a daughter of the late Theron Sigmon and Sarah Kitchens Sigmon.She was a graduate of Chester High School and Grants Beauty School.Mrs. Queen was retired from Schlegel Corporation.She was a member of Fountain of Life Church of God.Brenda was a devoted wife, mother and “Memaw”. She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Davis of Chester; Buffie Gibson of Chester, SC whom she loved as her own daughter; two grandchildren, Megan Davis of Washington, DC and Kyla Puckette (Stephen) of Charleston, SC; AND one stepdaughter, Ann Queen of Spartanburg, SC.Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her husband, George Roland Queen; one brother, Theron Barry Sigmon; and two sisters, Connie Gilchrist and Barbara McKeown.
