Chester Mrs. Brenda Lynn Dillinger McMahan, 72, died Thursday, January 23, 2020.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 27, 2020, at Woodward Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hinson and Rev. Benny Duncan officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, January 27, at Woodward Baptist Church. Mrs. McMahan was born September 29, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC and was a daughter of the late Ralph Dillinger and Lois Wilkie Dillinger.She attended the schools of Chester County and graduated from Beaver Creek Bible Institute.She was formerly employed with Chester Sportswear and also Essex.Mrs. McMahan was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and later Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Butch McMahan; one son, Butch McMahan, Jr. (Heather) of Fort Lawn; one daughter, Beverly McAbee (Michael) of Chester; seven grandchildren, Bailey (Jordan), Neely, Hayley, Sydney, Christopher, Steven and Layla; one great grandson, Carter James; four brothers, Mitchell Dillinger (Christine) of Chester, Marion Dillinger (Diane) of Chester, Bim Dillinger (Angie) of Chester and Jeffery Dillinger (Mary) of Chester; four sisters, Patsy Ferrell (Eric) of Chester, Frances Langley of Chester, Sadie Slack of Gaffney and Mildred Going of Chester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
