Chester Mrs. Brenda Fender Baker, 70, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Chester Freedom Ministries with Rev. Bill Stallings officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday at Chester Freedom Ministries, 729 Village Dr., Chester, SC and other times at the home of Mac and Wendy Floyd, 1456 Cedarhurst Rd., Chester, SC. Mrs. Baker was born December 4, 1950 in Lancaster, SC and was a daughter of the late George L. Fender and Love Banner Fender.She was a graduate of York Tech with a diploma in Bookkeeping.Brenda was formerly employed with Chester County as a Permit Clerk.She was a member of Chester Freedom Ministries.Brenda enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and keeping her yard beautiful. She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Baker Floyd (Mac) of Chester; one granddaughter, Brenna Floyd of Chester; two sisters, Nancy Forlaw (David) and Martha Lewis (Butch) both of Chester; five nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; two friends she loved as sisters, Sally Hudson and Angie Etters; and her fur baby, “Loki”.Brenda was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Thomas.
