Bobby Charles Flynn

Chester Mr. Bobby Charles Flynn, 81, died Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home, 133, Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Flynn was born October 19, 1940 in Lancaster, SC and was a son of the late Nathan Levi Flynn and Mary Johnson Flynn. He was a 1958 graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries. Bobby had a true love of golf and looked forward to having more time to play after his retirement. He started as a caddy in 1952 and became a member of the Chester High School golf team from 1956-1958. He is survived by his only living sibling, Norman Flynn of Lexington, SC. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia “Patsy” Flynn Clayton and Rebecca “Doodle” Flynn Clayton; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
