Bobby Eugene Ferrell

CHESTER, SC: Mr. Bobby Eugene Ferrell, 83, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Compton officiating. Born February 15, 1934 in Chester, SC, Mr. Ferrell was a son of the late Ebbie Frazier Ferrell and Josephine Mobley Ferrell.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War.He was previously employed with Springs Industries and also worked in pulpwood.He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years Clara Driggers Ferrell; four sons, Ken Hefner (Vicky) of Earl, SC, Ebbie Ferrell and Bobby Ferrell both of Chester, SC and Boyd Ferrell (Christy) of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Linda Ferrell of Chester, SC; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Dodds and Myrtle Ferrell both of Chester, SC.
