Chester Mr. Bobby Dove, 71, diedWednesday , February 6,2019 at Prisma Health Richland, in Columbia, SC.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 11, 2019, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating. Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday February 11, 2019 at Barron Funeral Home,133 Wylie St. , Chester, SC 29706 Mr. Dove was born March 14, 1947 in Blackstock, SC and was a son of the late Ella Dove.He attended the schools of Blackstock, SC, and was CEO of B&D Rental Properties. Mr. Dove was a member of Community Church. He is survived by one son; Bobby James Dove ( Cathy) of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Johnathan Chase Brown (Aleeia) of Charlotte, NC and Kortney Blu Brown of Chester, SC; three great-grandchildren, Marissa Lorenzo and Nevaeh St. John of Chester, SC and Nicholas Brown of Easley, SC; three sisters, Mary Ann Henderson of Greenville, SC, Sadie Dubose of North, SC and Sissy Vinson of Jonesville, SC; one brother, Pete Dove of Salinas, Kansas; his special friend Selina McMahan of Chester, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; friends, Eddie Cooper and Rev. Ronnie Greene. Mr. Dove was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Anette Dove; one granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Brown and his wife Dorothy Elizabeth “Dottie” Dove.
