CHESTER, SC: Mrs. Bobbie Uzella Yongue Boyd, 86, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center in Lancaster, SC.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Barron Funeral Home.A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. Born April 3, 1930 in Wetumka, OK, Mrs. Boyd was a daughter of the late William R. Yongue and Emily Dickey Yongue.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and retired from Fulton Board of Education in Atlanta, GA. She is survived by two daughters, Billie Jean Byard of Annapolis, Maryland and Emily Ann Boyd of Blackstock, SC; five grands, Steven Dolen of Branchburg, NJ, Amber J. Martinez of Fort Mill, SC, Robin F. Evans of Columbia, SC, Dr. Daniel J. Evans of Charlotte, NC and James A. Evans of McConnells, SC; five great grandchildren, Jake A. Dolen of Branchburg, NJ, Chandler N. Turner of McConnells, SC , Hailee Evans of McConnells, SC and Arelia Martinez, Fort Mill, SC.She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Christian Evans; four sisters, Catherine Yongue Vaughan, Opal Yongue Mobley, Wilma Hope Yongue Hill and Mary Irene Yongue Lee.
