Chester Mrs. Bobbie Kay Swank Lalli, 81, died Monday, December 6, 2021 at MUSC Health Chester Medical Center with her family by her side.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday December 10, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Augustin Guzman officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. A Rosary will begin at 4:30 PM at Barron Funeral Home and family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Thursday December 9, at the funeral home. Mrs. Lalli was born March 21, 1940 in Burlington, NC and was a daughter of the late Ace Swank and Opal Burchfield Swank. She was a graduate of South High School in Akron, Ohio and Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC .She was retired from Chester County School District as a guidance counselor. She was a member of the Palmetto Book Club , the Sunshine Club, the Chester Cotillion, Rudy’s Birthday Club, the Up-To-Date Club and the Diversity Study Club.Mrs. Lalli was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Fred Lalli; one son Troy F. Lalli (Susan) of Chester, SC; one daughter, Autumn Lalli Castles (Fred) of Chester, SC; five grandchildren, Mason Castles Machuca (Israel) of Rock Hill, SC, Hunter Lalli (Lauren) of McDonough, GA, Hayden Lalli of Chester, SC and Maria Lalli of Chester, SC; one great-grandson, Gian Machuca of Rock Hill, SC; one sister, Tabitha Setoodeh (Steve) of Mason, OH; one sister-in-law, Lidia Schlosser of Copley, OH;numerous nieces and nephews; her caregiver, Julie McCormick of Chester, SC and her beloved Labradoodle “Luigi”. She was preceded in death by an infant son Wade Anthony Lalli. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
