GREAT FALLS, SC: Mrs. Bobbie Ann Medlin Ellisor, 86, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Chester Regional Nursing Center.A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Clay Waldrip and Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church. Born May 8, 1929 in Chester County, SC, Mrs. Ellisor was the daughter of the late Amos A. Medlin and Emma Estelle Wilson Medlin.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School, USC-Lancaster and Kings Business Collegein Charlotte, NC. She was retired from Springs Industries as an accountant.Mrs. Ellisor was a member of the Great Falls First Baptist Church where she served in many areas of ministry within the church.She was also a member of the Great Falls Garden Club and the Friday Bridge Club.She was a member of the Circle Group at Hebron Presbyterian Church, Women of the church.Mrs. Ellisor was an avid homemaker with a passion for cooking.Anyone having the privilege to sit at her table would surely agree. She was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty-two years, Rembert A. Ellisor, Sr. She is survived by one son, Rembert A. “Andy” Ellisor, Jr. and his wife Terry of Chester, SC; two grandsons, Joshua A. Ellisor and Caleb R. Ellisor both of Chester, SC and one brother, Fred W. Medlin and his wife Ann of Salisbury, NC.
