Edgemoor, SC Mrs. Billie Juanita Simerson Thomas, 74, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her home.A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Evergreeen Cemetery, 4426 Central Ave., Charlotte, NC with Rev. Wayne Deffinger officiating. Mrs. Thomas was born May 5, 1940 in Charlotte, NC and was a daughter of the late William A. Simerson and Marie Pope Simerson.She was a graduate of Central High School in Charlotte and retired as a dispatcher for Alterman Transport Lines. She is survived by her husband of more than 25 years, Paul E. Thomas; two sons, Jimmy Chastain (Terri) of Sherrills Ford, NC and Allen Chastain of Fort Mill, SC; one daughter, Pam Nesbit (Jeff) of Myrtle Beach, SC; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Athlene Wallace of Belmont, NC.
