CHESTER: Mrs. Billie Dawn Buckingham Burton, 53, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her home.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, March 31, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Woodward Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating.The interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born May 6, 1963 in Waterbury, Connecticut, Billie was a daughter of the late William Ralph and Myra Doster Buckingham.She was a graduate of Chester High School and joined Prestige Insurance in 2006 as an agent. She enjoyed baseball with her sons, drag racing with her husband and working with crafts. Billie is survived by her husband of over thirty years, Louis “Butch” Burton, Jr.; two sons, Mark Anthony Burton and Dylan Jeremy Burton both of Chester; two sisters, Terri B. Hunter and her husband Judd of Chester and Carol. Grant of New Haven, CT and a nephew, John David Hunter of Chester.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Pat Grant.
