Betty Louise Mcwatters Youngblood

Betty Louise McWatters Youngblood, 92, died Monday, April 14, 2025 at MUSC Lancaster Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2025 at Embers Church with Rev. Kevin Taylor and Rev. Jeff McWatters officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation for family and friend will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the church. Mrs. Youngblood was born August 20, 1932 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Jessie Lee McWatters and Willie Marian Curry McWatters. She attended the schools of Chester County and retired as a cafeteria worker with Chester County Public Schools. She also retired from Chester County Hospital having worked in the cafeteria. Mrs. Youngblood was a member of Embers Church. She is survived by two sons, Terry L. Paul of Rembert, SC and Dean Paul (Natalie) of Chester, SC; a stepson, Gene Youngblood (Sherry) of York, SC; a brother, Tommy M. McWatters (Donna) of Chester, SC; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Carol Paul; two brothers, Harvey and Floyd McWatters; and her sister, Nancy Gertrude McWatters.
