Fort Lawn Mrs. Betty Broadway Thompson, 67, died Friday, June 23, 2017, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. John Parris officiating.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 29, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC.Interment will be in Bay Springs Cemetery, Bay Springs, Mississippi at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 30, 2017. Mrs. Thompson was born November 6, 1949 in Clarksdale, Mississippi and was a daughter of the late Charles A. Broadway and Lottie McCowan Broadway.She was a graduate of East High School in Nashville, Tennessee.Betty was a homemaker and caregiver for her mother of over 30 years.She enjoyed music and was an accomplished musician.Betty also loved her animals.She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Thompson is survived by four brothers, Donnie, Robert, Charles and Ralph Broadway; three sisters, Gerene, Louise and Loraine; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry N. Thompson and several siblings including a sister, Connie Broadway Morton. Memorials may be made to Wayne T.
