Betty Ann Lindsay Revels

Chester Mrs. Betty Ann Lindsay Revels, 83, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday February 28, 2022 at Orrs Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Wightman, Rev. Randall Runion and Rev. Curtis Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Orrs Baptist Church. Mrs. Revels was born February 11, 1939 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Robert Henry Lindsay and Mary Elizabeth Owens Lindsay. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Revels was retired from Springs Industries (Katherine Plant) and also was owner operator of Country Work Bench Frame Shop. Betty was a member of Good Sam Camping Club and served on the state staff and also a member of disaster relief through South Carolina Baptist association.She was a lifetime member of Orrs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Alfred Y. Revels, Jr.; two sons, Alfred L. "Freddie" Revels (Shari) of Bedford VA and Walker A. "Wally" Revels (Karen) of Chester, SC; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Revels, Jim Revels and Andrew Revels; one great-granddaughter, Sadie Revels and four nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Lindsay, her sister-in-law, Doris Lindsay, her daughter-in-law, Patty Revels and a grandson Robert Revels.
