Betty Mcmanus Mobley

Chester Mrs. Betty McManus Mobley, 83, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at MUSC Chester. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mrs. Mobley was born July 9, 1937 in Camden, SC and was a daughter of the late James Lee McManus and Mary Ellen Branham McManus. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Jefferson, SC and was retired from Zenith Engraving and also worked in floral designing in Chester, SC. Mrs. Mobley attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Mobley; she is survived by one daughter, Mary Kirkley Wolf (Gene) of Monroe, NC; one grandson, Bryan Lira of Monroe, NC; three nephews, Lester McManus (Dell), Charles McManus and Stanley McManus (Carol)all of Great Falls, SC; one niece Mary Jane Faile (David) of Lexington, SC; one great niece, Brandi Busbee of Florida; and a nephew, Cecil Lucas of Columbia, SC.Mrs. Mobley is also survived by her stepchildren, Dean Mobley, Yvonne Mobley, Steven Mobley (Frances) and Donna Mariduena and step daughter-in-law, Sarah Ann Mobley all of Chester; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a stepson, Jimmy H.
