Rock Hill Mrs. Betty Aileen Bostic McManus, 87, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Rock Hill Post Acute Center.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Fowler and Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday at Westside Baptist Church, 523 Rose St., Chester, SC. Mrs. McManus was born July 16, 1930 in Kannapolis, NC and was a daughter of the late Claud Bostic and Etta Jane Worthy Bostic.She was a graduate of Winecoff High School in Kannapolis, NC and was retired from Chester Telephone as an operator.Mrs. McManus was a member of Westside Baptist Church where she was a former church pianist.She enjoyed shopping as her hobby. She is survived by two daughters, Janet M. Moye of Chester and Reba M. Crump (Tommy) of Rock Hill; four grandchildren, Nick Moye of Laurens, Hannah Rae Sutton (Josh) of Charlotte, NC, Patrick Crump and Benjamin Crump both of Rock Hill; one great grandson, Milo Moye of Clinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by her husband of over 49 years, Melvin Eugene McManus and 15 brothers and sisters.
