Betty Hastings Logan, 86, past away Monday, September 12, 2016 at her residence.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ in Rock Hill, SC with MinisterAndy Brewster and Minister David Pharr officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2016 in Sanctuary of Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ and also following the interment at Old Purity Cemetery in Chester, SC. Born February 1, 1930 in Cleveland County, NC, Betty was a daughter of the late Clyde Hoey Hastings and Lola McFarland Hastings.She attended the schools of Cleveland County, NC and was a longtime farm owner and a homemaker.Mrs. Logan was a wonderful wife and mother.She enjoyed keeping a beautiful home and a beautiful yard and garden.She was a member of the Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ.Mrs. Logan was the widow of Vernon Eugene Logan. She is survived by three children, Jenell White, Joseph Wayne Logan and Belva Christine Logan all of Chester, SC; three grandchildren, Russell Blair White and his wife Gina, Lou Ann Bennett and Michael Wayne Logan all of Chester, SC; three great grandchildren, Robert, Matthew and Jacob Bennett. Betty was one of seven children and was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Memorials may be made to Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ, 339 Charlotte Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
