Mrs. Betty Hollifield Hurst, 74, of 588 Penn Lake Road, died Friday, September 05, 2008 at Chester Regional Medical Center in Chester. The funeral will be 3:00 p.m Saturday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Joanne Hawkins officiating.Interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born September 10, 1933 in Chester, Mrs. Hurst was the daughter of the late Lawson and Alice Wilson Hollifield.She attended schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries.She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, John W. Hurst; three daughters, Debbie Henson, Carolyn Wessinger and her husband George, and Linda Reynolds and her husband Larry, all of Chester; two sisters, Peggy Matthews of Rock Hill, SC and Ruth Watts of Apopka, Florida; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son John W.
