Chester Mrs. Betty Ann Miller Pittman, 73, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at her home.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Porter officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Sunday at Mrs. Pittman’s home, 146 Pinckney St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Pittman was born March 10, 1941 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late William H Miller and Alice Farrrell Miller.She attended the schools of Chester County.Mrs. Pittman was formerly employed with Springs Industries and also Borden’s and Haddon House.She attended First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by one sister, Ruth M. Hinson (Jimmy) of Chester; one brother, Larry D. Miller (Joyce) of Rock Hill; one granddaughter, Whitney L. Pittman (Will Shirley) of Chester; one great-grandson, Bradley James Langley, Jr. of Chester; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Pittman.
