ROCK HILL: Miss Betsy Maude Land, 69,passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her residence.The funeral will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.The interment will be in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm Friday at Barron Funeral Home. Born March 23, 1944 in Darlington, SC, Betsy was the daughter of the late James M. and Sarah Hendricks Land.She loved flowers, baby dolls, and pocketbooks.Though her physical abilities were limited, her spirit was great, her enthusiasm was contagious and her love for others was healing. She is survived by one sister, Lila Pritchett of Chester, SC; two brothers, Jimmy Land and his wife Tina of Chester and Mackie Land and his wife Betty of Rock Hill, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
