Chester Mr. Benny Ross Miller, 70, died Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born April 25, 1952 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late George Ray Miller and Francis Key Miller. He attended the schools of Chester County and retired from Springs Industries. Bennie enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, dirt track racing and playing softball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jane Whiteside’s and Mary Francis Byars; one brother, Bobby O’Neal Miller; he is survived by one daughter, Lynne Wood (Kenny) of Chesterfield, SC; one son, Dwight Walters (Faith) of Lumberton, TX; three grandchildren, Chandler Wood of Chesterfield, SC, Abigail Nelson and Kyley Hill of Lumberton, TX; one brother who was also his caregiver, Jimmy Ray Miller of Chester, SC; one sister Edna Cooper of Chester, SC ; his niece and caregiver Susan Hinson of Chester, SC and numerous other nieces and nephews.
