LYMAN, SC: Mr. Benny Lee Corley, 85, died Sunday, July 24, 2016 at his residence.The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.The funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Mr. Mike Wessinger and Mr. Paul McCants officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born January 30, 1931 in Chester, SC, Mr. Corley was a son of the late Mr. Floyd E.and Alma Roof Corley.He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean war.He was retired from Springs Industries Eureka Mill in Chester, SC.Mr. Corley was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church where he was a choir member. He is survived by his wife of over fifty-seven years Oma Shirah Corley; one daughter, Charlene C. Derrick of Lyman, SC; three grandchildren, Heather H. Eidson and her husband Matt of Inman, SC, Garrett Wilson of Easley, SC and Brittany A. Derrick of Greer, SC and three great grandchildren, Corley Eidson, Pressley Eidson and Haylan Davis.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Bill Corley and three sisters, Carolyn Keels, Daisy Comer and Grace Comer.
