Barbara Ann Wishert, 73, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, July 16, 2016.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Cool Branch Baptist Church with Rev. John Epps officiating.Interment will follow at the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Cool Branch Baptist Church. Born December 28, 1942 in Chester, SC, Ms. Wishert was a daughter of the late Lawrence Dean Wishert and Mattie Bell Eubanks Wishert. She was a graduate of Chester High School, North Greenville Jr. College, and Limestone College and retired from Springs Industries with over 40 years of service.Barbara was a member of Cool Branch Baptist Church where she served as Church Treasure for over 30 years and was a member of Calvary Bible Study and also volunteered as a Christian Mentor at Chester Park Elementary After School Program.She was also active in Chester Baptist Association Activities focusing mainly on W.M.U. She is survived by her special cousins, Albert Wishert, Joe Wishert and John Traylor (her primary caregivers);numerous other cousins; and her five “adopted” sisters.
