Chester Mrs. Barbara Ellen Wilson Moore, 70, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at her home.A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. David Levister officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC.Interment will be private. Mrs. Moore was born July 12, 1948 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Wilson and Margie Pauline Johnson Wilson.She was a graduate of Chester High School and Cosmetology school.She was retired as a beautician and Time Warner Cable.“Babs” also used her talent to do theatrical makeup.She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by one daughter, Scarlet M. Haithcock (Chad) of Newport, TN; one son, Arte Moore (Ryan) of Severville, TN; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kane, Ashton, Aiden, Charley and Brennon; one great grandchild, Phoenix; one brother, Tommy Wilson (Peggy) of Chester; one sister, Joy Hale (Mike) of Rock Hill; and several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a daughter, Mandy Moore and two sisters, Sybil Diane Catoe and Virginia Dare Black.
