Barbara Louise Hawkins Robinson

Barbara Louise Hawkins Robinson, 92, died Monday, April 28, 2025, at the home of her daughter.  Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday May 2, 2025, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Davis officiating.  Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Union, SC.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday at Barron Funeral Home.

Born November 11, 1932 in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Alvin Hawkins and Fannie Elizabeth Enloe Hawkins.  She attended Attaray School in Union, SC.  Barbara retired from Springs Industries with more than 35 years of service and also retired from Gene's Kwik Stop.  She was a member of Orrs Baptist Church.  Barbara was an accomplished cook and enjoyed preparing meals for others.  She also enjoyed crocheting, planting flowers in her yard and her 'Checkerberry' snuff.

She is survived by four children, Linda Corder of Chester, Carrie Gross (Billy) of Chester, Glenn "Gene" Robinson of Rock Hill and Elaine Ferrell of Chester; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of over 36 years, Jesse Glenn Robinson; a grandson, Travis Corder; and her sisters and brothers.
