Barbara Wright Leonard

BLACKSTOCK, SC Mrs. Barbara Joanne Wright Leonard, age 72, of 1020 Ross Road, Blackstock, died Sunday at Piedmont Medical Center, in Rock Hill. Funeral will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. John Porter and Rev. Kenneth Compton officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Leonard was born in Chester February 18, 1937 a daughter of the late Oscar and Vinnie Petty Wright. She was a graduate of Chester High School and worked for Springs Industries for many years. She later was employed with Phillips Industries where she retired. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include two sons, Alvin ?Sam? Diggs and wife Paula of Patrick, SC and Allen ?Bud? Leonard and wife Angie of Blackstock. One daughter, Carla Sanders of Rock Hill, SC. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One sister, Joyce Autry of Chester, SCShe was preceded in death by her husband James Harold Leonard, and a son, Russell Diggs.
