Chester, SC: Barbara Faye Stalnaker Gregory, 57, died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Wilksburg Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Davis officiating. The family will receive friends also Wednesday, September 13 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. at Wilksburg Baptist Church. Interment will be private. Mrs. Gregory was born in Chester, SC on January 21, 1960 and was a daughter of Bobby Hunt Stalknaker and Faye Boone Carter. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was formerly employed with Carolina Tank of Chester, SC. Barbara attended Wilksburg Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of over 16 years, Johnny M. "Country" Gregory, one son Justin of Rock Hill, SC; one Step-Son Travis Gregory (Whitney) of Chester, SC; four grandchildren Kaleigh, Halen, Mason and Kenleigh and one brother Bobby J. Stalnaker (Shirley) of Chester, SC. Memorials may be made to Wilksburg Baptist Church 3137 Pinckney Road, Chester, SC 29706.
