Mrs. Augusta Lee “Sudie” Johnson Clack, 70, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at her home.A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmie Cox officiating.The family will receive friendsMonday from 10:00 am – 10:45 am at Barron Funeral Home and other times at the home of her niece Margaret and Robert Shirley, 575 Sixth Street, Chester. Born April 30, 1942 in Haywood County, NC, Mrs. Clack was the daughter of the late Gilbert Johnson and Cora Lee Revis Johnson.She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Schumacher as a quality control inspector and was of the Baptist faith. She is the widow of Horace Reid Clack. She is survived by one granddaughter, Lisa Gregory and her husband Bently of Erwin, NC; three great grandchildren, Zachary Godwin and Logan Godwin of Erwin, NC and Nina Gregory of Cary, NC; one great great grandson, Cayden Erickson of Cary, NC; several nieces and nephews and her niece and caregiver Margaret Shirley and her husband Robert of Chester.She is also survived by her dog Jack whom she loved.
