Aubrey Yomer Gaston

Chester: Mr.Aubrey Yomer Gaston, 76,died Thursday, December 4, 2008, at his residence. A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with Reverend Larry Parsons. A native of Chester, Mr. Gaston was a son of the late John Holmes Gaston and Essie Maude Gaston.He attended the schools of Chester, SC and was retired from Springs Industries.He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church and the widower of Ruthy Mae Carpenter. Surviving are four daughters, Audrey Gaston, Ann Threatt and her husband Bill, and Gale Gaston all of Chester, SC, Dale McManus of Great Falls, SC, one Brother, Oneal Gaston of Chester, SC; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, C/O Robert E.
