Chester, SC: Annie Laurie Lindsay Robbins, 90 , died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Harbor Chase of Rock Hill, SC. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Reverend Rick Wheeler officiating. Interment will be held in Old Purity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday evening at Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. Robbins was born October 5, 1920 in Chester, SC a daughter of the late Henry C. Lindsay and Ruth Chambers Lindsay. She was a graduate of Chester High School and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Robbins was formerly employed with McCrorey?s Dime Store, Judge Hattie Hardin and S.L. Robbins Well Drilling.She was the widow of Stamie L. ?S.L.? Robbins. Mrs. Robbins is survived by one daughter, Laurie Robbins Wood of Chester, SC; two grandchildren Don Wood and his wife Angela and Robin W. Gunn and her husband Floyd all of Chester, SC;five great-grandchildren, Michelle Terry, Lee Gunn, Paul Gunn, Kristie Wade and Laurie K. Wood; four great-great grandchildren, Brittany Darby, Hannah Darby, Bre?leigh Terry and Angelina Wade and one brother, John Lindsay of Newberry, SC. She was preceded in death by a sister Alice Reid and two brothers Jim and George Lindsay. Memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 651 Great Falls Highway, Chester, SC 29706 and Serenity Pallative and Hospice Care, 325 S.
