Annie Mae Mcmahan Craig

Mrs. Annie Mae McMahan Craig, 91, died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at her home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Vernon Craig officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mrs. Craig was born February 20, 1933 in York County, SC and was a daughter of the late William McMahan and Naomi Ruth Rutledge. She attended the schools of York County and was retired from Springs Industries as a spinning instructor. Annie was a caregiver for most of her life. She loved her church and being a part of Westside Baptist Church where she was a member. She is survived by one son Kenneth Craig (Allison) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Stacy Vanhorn (Bill) of Chester, SC, Christopher Craig of Chester, SC and Timothy Scott Hatchell of Rock Hill, SC; Great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Craig of Chester, SC and Richard Bland III of Chester, SC; one brother, Joe McMahan (Ann) of Chester, SC and former daughter-in-law and caregiver, Linda Craig of Chester, SC; she was preceded in death by her husband of over 36 years, William Earl “Bill” Craig and sisters, Hazel McWatters and Racheal Pitts; brothers, James Alfred McMahan and Wesley McMahan and her son, William Earl “Billy” Craig, Jr. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 1069 Bayshore Dr. Rock Hill, SC 29732 Online condolences may be made to the family at www.barronfuneralhome.com
