Rock Hill, SC: Mrs. Anne Thomasson Padget, 84, died Friday, December 8, 2017 at Westminster Health & Rehabilitation Center in Rock Hill, SC.The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 11, 2017 in the vestibule of First Baptist Church of Chester. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Chester with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born January 24, 1933 in York, South Carolina, Mrs. Padget was the daughter of Joseph Baity Thomasson and Daisy Anthony Thomasson.She was a graduate of York High School and Winthrop College and the University of South Carolina.She was formerly employed with Clemson Extension Service as a Demonstration Agent and retired from Chester County Schools as an elementary school teacher.She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin D. Padget and her daughter, Margaret Anne Padget. She is survived by her niece Jane T. Scott (Bill) of N. Augusta, SC and her lifelong friend and caregiver, Sara W. Myers (Homer) of Charlotte, NC.
