Ann Mcdaniel Sanders

Mrs. Ann McDaniel Sanders, 69, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 3, 2023 at First Baptist Church Chester with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the vestibule of the church. Ann was born June 24, 1954 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late John Wilson McDaniel and Sarah Shirley McDaniel. She was a 1972 graduate of Chester High School and a 1976 graduate of Winthrop College. Ann retired from Chester County School District as an administrative assistant after serving over 31 years. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her family was the love of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church Chester. She is survived by her husband of over 45 years, William Lee “Billy” Sanders, two daughters, Anna Crockett (Derek) of Rock Hill, SC and Allison Kelsey (Hyatte) of Chester, SC; three grandchildren, Taylor Ray (Alex) of Rock Hill, SC, Leah Crockett of Rock Hill, SC and Thomas Kelsey of Chester, SC; one brother, Johnny McDaniel (Marty) of Chester, SC; four nieces, Becky Fleming, Kathryn Casserly, Page Martin and Lauren McDaniel; one nephew, Trey McDaniel and several other nieces and nephews; in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Sara Fleming.
