Allen "Bud" Harold Leonard

Blackstock Mr. Allen “Bud” Harold Leonard, 54, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Chester Regional Medical Center.Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 3, at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brian Howard officiating.Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, December 2, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Leonard was born February 17, 1963 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late James Harold Leonard and Barbara Wright Leonard.He was a graduate of Chester High School and employed with Scotts Hyponex as a supervisor.He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed fishing.Bud lovedhis grandsons and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by his wife of over 28 years, Angie Morrison Leonard; two sons, Ryan Leonard of Blackstock and Alan Leonard of Chester; five grandchildren, Tucker Leonard of Blackstock, Levi Leonard of Kershaw, Michael Leonard and Bryson Leonard both of Richburg and Haley Lovell of Richburg; one sister, Carla Leonard Peay of Rock Hill; one brother, Alvin “Sam” Diggs of Chesterfield; and several nieces and nephews.Mr. Leonard was preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Diggs.
