Blair, SC Mrs. Alice Smith Tinsley, 68, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 9, 2013 in Evergreen Cemetery with Mr. Anthony P. Ferrell officiating. Born August 18, 1944 in Anderson, SC, Mrs. Tinsley was the daughter of the late William Ketron Smith and Macy Manley Smith and the widow of Douglas Horace Tinsley.She attended the schools of Chester County and retired from Springs Industries as a spinner.She was a member of Fellowship Temple Road Church. She is survived by two daughters, Christy Ferrell and her husband Clint of Summerville, SC and Lisa Sampair and her husband Tim of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Claude Dodds, Jr. and his wife Tammy of McCordsville, IN and Anthony Clack of Great Falls, SC; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; nephews, Tony Stapleton of Clemson and Scott Stapleton of Chester; one brother, Jimmy Smith and his wife Joyce of Copperas Cove, TX.
